Casa da Figueira is a one story Portuguese-style villa with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen. It is located in Praia da Luz, Algarve, in Portugal and is walking distance from a beautiful sandy beach, a small village, many fabulous golf courses, wineries, and nature trails. It is a licensed Alojamento Local and available as a vacation rental year-round. 
The living room is connected to the dining room and has a new fireplace that you are welcome to use. Original art from Portuguese and other European artists is on display throughout Casa da Figueira. Two French doors open from the dining and living rooms to the covered terrace and private pool area. The front door opens to another covered terrace linked to a large courtyard with a pathway to a lush enclosed tropical garden. It’s an easy 2 min walk from a large sandy beach.
There are three bedrooms in Casa da Figueira:
The master bedroom has a king size bed (180cm x 200cm), a large wardrobe and dresser as well as an antique desk. The master room connects into a beautifully renovated private bathroom with a large two-person bathtub and Portuguese sink. A security safe with programmable digital code is available so you can safely store your valuables during your vacation.
- The second bedroom has three twin-size beds, a large build-in wardrobe and an antique bookcase. It has a new private sink with large mirror.
- The large third bedroom has beautiful double and twin-size beds and a large build-in wardrobe.
- An extra baby cod or kids folding bed can be provided free of charge and added to any of the three rooms. We also provide a high-chair if needed.
In addition to the bathroom in the master bedroom, two additional bathrooms are located in the hallway. One of them also has a large bathtub with shower, the other a sink and shower. With the sink in the yellow bathroom and the three bathrooms there is never a need to delay taking a refreshing shower or a relaxing lazy bath after a long day outside.
The hallway and the yellow bedroom have well-stocked bookcases with all kinds of English and other language novels and informative books for our guests to enjoy. Please leave one you brought along but finished reading, or please take one if you did not yet finish it by the time you leave. Many tourist books about Portugal and the Algarve are also provided. Please enjoy using them during your stay but leave them at Casa da Figueira upon departure.
All rooms have heating and air-conditioning.
 The sunny and spacious living room has a tall fireplace, a two large sofas and comfortable seats. A large living room window provides a fantastic view of the tropical gardens.
There is TV with many satellite channels you can enjoy for free. Amelia can show how to switch between Portuguese TV and satellite TV. A DVD player is available for movies. Casa da Figueira has a DVD collection you can enjoy or please do bring your own. Finally, our clients are welcome to use the phone for free local calls and of course for all incoming calls. In addition free wireless internet is available, but please bring your laptop to connect.
The dining room has a large table and connects via a pass-thru hole to the a fully equipped kitchen. The dining room connects to a very cozy covered terrace where most of the meals can be held enjoying some shade at noon, or the sunset in the evening.
The newly remodeled kitchen with plenty of counter top space has a stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee machine, fruit press, blender, bread toaster, brand new dishwasher. Quick hint, in order to use the oven you need to put the "timer" on. If you don't know how to use any of the appliances, please just ask Amelia, our amazing housekeeper. The kitchen is equipped with the necessary items to have breakfast with tea or coffee, and to cook delicious lunches or dinners from fresh fruit from the garden or vegetables and fish obtained from the local markets.
 Casa da Figueira comes with a private one-car garage that can be locked, and there is space to park another car next to the garage or in front of the 70m walkway.
